What is Black and White and "Read" all over?

A book of course!! This is a post all about my favorite MUST-READ books and series. I don't have a top 10 because all of these books are just whole lot of fun, suspense, a little romance (more than a little), and fantasy!

Hush-Hush series

The Hush-Hush is a series has five books and is about a fallen angel named Patch and a girl named Nora. This story takes place in Coldwater, Maine. The storyline begins with the arrival of Patch at Noras school; Nora is drawn to Patch, even though when her best friend confronts her about this she claim not to even care about him.

The story is filled with supernatural occurrences, powers and creatures. Hush-Hush is just the beginning of a supernatural, fast paced, teen novel.

The Mortal Instruments series is a total of six books and is written by Cassandra Clare. This series is about a girl named Clary Fray who finds out that she is a nephilim; a half-angle and half-human creature; also called Shadowhunters . When she first meets Jace, another shadowhunter, he tells her what she is and she feels strangely drawn to him.

This series revolves around Clary and Jace and their story of finding the Mortal Cup, keeping the world from being tossed into chaos by Valentine, killing demons and fighting forbidden love.

The Infernal Devices series is a prequel to the Mortal Instruments that centers around Tessa, Will and Jem. The series takes place during the year of 1867 in London.  And is also written by Cassandra Clare.

Tessa has lived in New York her whole life until now. When she finally gets to London (the place that is to be her new home) she is kidnapped by a pair of sisters called the dark sisters. After six weeks a man named Will Herondale comes and rescues her. This is the beginning of a story about clockwork armies, vampires, werewolves, magic, shape-shifting, warlocks and a triangle of love.

Starcrossed

This a book for readers of the series of "Percy Jackson & The Olympians" written by Rick Riordan and consist of three books. This series is based on greek mythology and the Trojan War even though it takes place in modern day times.

The story revolves around a girl named Helen Hamilton who lives on a small on island of the east coast. When a new family moves to town there is much gossip and rumor but when Helen first meets Lucas, one of the sons of the family, she tries to strangle him and doesn't know why.  As the story progresses you find out that Lucas's family and Helen are Demigods; Descendants of the Greek Gods. This is a 'very' romance filled series, so boys I might avoid this one.

The Carrier of the Mark

To control the elements of Earth, Fire, Water and Air is an amazing power to behold but to control even just one of these elements is terrifying.

Megan has just moved to Ireland and started at Saint Basil Academy when she meets Adam DiRis who seems to be drawn to her despite his usual aloofness. When he confronts her about his interest in her, Megan learns that she is a Carrier of the Mark; the embodiment of the element of air and therefore she can control Air. Adam Controls Water, his sister controls Earth and his older brother controls Fire. Control the elements control the world.

Well this has been just a few of my favorite book series! Thanks for reading!
